I am think about entering the SW field, I don't know a lot about the SW field and i would like to know "What does RSW mean?" (above message)
Thank you,
Gita from Canada
RSW means Registered Social Worker like RN-Registered Nurse. It means that the person is registered with the governing body and has a base level of education and adheres to a code of ethics. In Alberta you must have a RSW to be called a social worker. See the RSW website:

Does anyone know what is required to be called a social worker in Ontario? What schools offer a BSW in Canada?
