I work for a community crisis counseling center, and we have in the past been a
very strong resource in the social service community for trainings on local systems
and resources, ethics, suicide, homelessness in our community, etc. After several
years we are beginning to develop these trainings again, and I am hoping some of
you may have ideas on valuable training topics.
Any ideas? Are there topics that seem to come up with clients again and again, that
somebody must know the answer to, but you just don't have the time to gather
resources? Perhaps there are particular stressors for workers in your agency, and
the agency might benefit from trainings on dealing with these specific issues and
avoiding burnout. What aspects of your community resources do you wish you
knew better? Mental health systems, drug and alcohol treatment?

Any help with ideas will be appreciated!
