I have been accepted to an MSW program at Temple University. I applied to schools around Philly because that's where my fiance is from and he wished to move back there. However, he has been offered a job here in Connecticut, which he will take depending on what I want to do. I had initially wanted to stay in my state anyway, but I missed the deadline for the state university's admissions. They informed me that I could take courses as a non-matriculated student and apply for the Fall 2002 program. The university has a good program and it will cost me less than half of what I would be shelling out at Temple. I suppose I am looking for a little advice--do I go to Temple where I have been guaranteed acceptance, or take a chance in my home state? Any thought would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. (Does anyone know when UNCC's Master's program will be accredited? A friend is curious.)
