Embodied Healing: Somatic Approaches for Trauma-Informed Care (1.5 CEUs)

Come join us at Carve Your Own Path, Inc. for an interactive workshop on somatic practices that goes beyond traditional trauma-informed care trainings.

This 1.5-hour interactive training offers licensed therapists a practical and trauma-informed framework for integrating somatic therapy into their clinical work with clients. Participants will explore how trauma is stored in the body and how healing must also occur through the body—not just the mind.

Through guided demonstrations, experiential activities, and case-based reflection, attendees will deepen their understanding of the nervous system, polyvagal theory, and the somatic imprint of trauma. Together, we will build a compassionate and developmentally sensitive “Somatic Toolbox” that supports regulation, safety, and resilience across diverse clinical populations.

Whether you are new to somatic therapy or looking to enhance your existing skills, this workshop offers science-backed practices you can bring directly into the therapy room.
