The Social Workers Radio Interview on The A-to-Z Self-Care Handbook for Social Workers and Other Helping Professionals

The Social Workers radio talk show featured Erlene Grise-Owens and Mindy Eaves on the first show of the 2016-2017 season, which aired September 19, 2016, on WCDB at the University at Albany. Hosts Alyssa Lotmore and Dr. Eric Hardiman interviewed Grise-Owens and Eaves about The A-to-Z Self-Care Handbook for Social Workers and Other Helping Professionals,  the book they recently co-edited with Justin "Jay" Miller.

In the interview, Grise-Owens and Eaves talk about how the book came about, what self-care is, and the importance of making self-care a lifestyle rather than an "extra." They also discuss how self-care training is being implemented in social service agencies.

The A-to-Z Self-Care Handbook for Social Workers and Other Helping Professionals is published by The New Social Worker Press and is available at Amazon.com in print and Kindle editions.
