In Social Justice We Trust

Social Work Core Value: Social Justice

by Ionuț Cioarță

Social justice is more than a story of success

Of how people are transformed and how they can transform.

Connection with respect and dignity, it requires

Infinite patience and passion for human freedom.

Anything that strongly can challenge the oppression

Like fighting against elitism and discrimination.

Justice is not an empty idea, an abstract

Used only as a cliché to impress or to attack.

Social justice is about basic human rights, in fact.

The core of social work indicates us clear

Is our duty to fight for the fair, without fear.

Creating, empowering – and we can build a world where

Every human has the right to smile, to dream, and to dare.
