Introducing "Future Social Worker Says" Memes - The Lighter Side of Social Work

Social worker and new mom Gina Bowers sent us some cute memes of her adorable baby boy for the Social Work Month Project 2016. Here's what she said:

I find it's so important to be able to laugh at yourself and with clients at work, because it makes you human and keeps you healthy! I am a case manager at a permanent supportive housing property for individuals who are formerly homeless and have various disabilities. Since my office is in their home, we have a lot of very serious and very candid moments throughout the day, and we become like family. I love the people I serve and my job, and I can't wait to see what I've missed when I return to the office after my maternity leave!

Gina Bowers received her undergraduate degree from Malone University and master's degree in clinical social work from The Ohio State University. She has her LISW-S license and has been serving individuals experiencing homelessness for eight years.
