Hope, through the mire of suffering,
There is compassion.
Hope, through the traumatic experiences,
There is a way.
Hope, through the financial turmoil,
There are services.
Hope, through the weight of the world,
There is support.
Hope, through discrimination and other injustices,
There is advocacy.
Hope, through the field of social work,
For there you will find empathy, understanding, and empowerment.
Hope, knowing there is a place you will not be judged.
We call this profession “Social Work.”
