A lifetime in a wheelchair has inspired my decision to pursue studies in the fields of social work, psychology, and music at Florida International University. It is my ultimate goal to attain an MSW, so that I may promote fair public policy as an advocate for the disabled and to offer comfort by counseling and providing music therapy to those facing terminal illness in the hospice and palliative care settings.
