Against NASW Code of Ethics to offer continuation of care outside of practice?

If you are terminating with a client at a fee for service clinic because you are leaving the organization, is it against the NASW Code of Ethics to offer them a continuation of care at a private practice in the future?

Codes of Ethics

If the social worker is a member of NASW, he or she is bound by the NASW Code of Ethics, which can be found at http://www.socialworkers.org/pubs/code/code.asp

If the social worker is licensed, you can also check with the state licensing board about its code of ethics and any provisions in it that relate to your question.
